Varsity volleyball to play first home games Saturday

Lancer volleyball will host the McMaster Marauders for its home openers on Saturday, November 11, in the St. Denis Centre.

The women will play at 1 p.m. and the men at 3 p.m. in contest that have consequences for the standings in the Ontario University Athletics west division. Windsor’s men currently sit atop the division with a record of 2-0, with McMaster second at 2-1. On the women’s side, Windsor at 2-2 trails the Marauders’ 2-1.

Volleyball will be back on home court Sunday, November 12, to host the Brock Badgers — same time, same place.

Lancer women’s hockey will also play at home this weekend, facing off against the Ridgebacks of UOIT at 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 10, and the Queen’s Gaels at 4 p.m. Saturday; both games at South Windsor Arena.

Men’s hockey will travel to Waterloo, meeting the Warriors on Friday and the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday.

Women’s and men’s basketball will play the Western Mustangs in London on Friday.

Cross country athletes will compete in the U Sports national championship meet, Sunday, November 12, in Victoria, B.C.
