Preserving LGBTQ2+ history subject of lecture

A free public lecture Tuesday, January 23, will discuss approaches to preserving the history of marginalized people in a way that is equitable and inclusive.

Jade Pichette, volunteer and outreach co-ordinator for the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives will deliver “Keeping our stories alive: Engaging LGBTQ2+ histories and archives” at 7 p.m. in McPherson Lounge, Alumni Hall.

The archives collect, preserve, and make available materials created by or about the LGBT community. Tuesday’s event is sponsored by the UWindsor women and gender studies program and the Leddy Library.
