High-profile speakers lined up for business leadership symposium

The chief executives of Moosehead Breweries and Olympia Entertainment are among the speakers who will address the Georgie-Odette Leadership Symposium at the Odette School of Business on Friday, November 16.

The event will bring together business leaders to speak on various aspects of successful leadership, and provides an opportunity for personal growth and networking for students, professionals, and anyone seeking to further their understanding of leadership in today’s world.

The student-run project is powered and supported by the Richard Peddie Leadership Initiative. Going into its seventh year, the symposium bridges the gap between the worlds of education and professional practice.

This year’s speaker line-up includes:

  • Tom Wilson, president of Olympia Entertainment;
  • Tracey Stockwell, senior vice president of Universal Orlando;
  • Bob Richards, retired, Bermuda’s deputy premier and minister of finance;
  • Jordana Strosberg, global advanced technology communications manager, General Motors;
  • Andrew Oland, president of Moosehead Breweries Limited; and
  • Patti-Anne Tarlton, chief operating officer of Ticketmaster Canada.
