Alzheimer’s disease subject of wellness newsletter

January is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, and the current edition of Workplace Wellness E-Digest addresses many aspects of the chronic neurodegenerative disease.

“Alzheimer's disease is irreversible and destroys brain cells, causing thinking ability and memory to deteriorate,” notes the newsletter, published by the Department of Human Resources’ Office of Employee Engagement and Development.
