Students from the School of Dramatic Art put themselves in the spotlight at the 2019 Theatre Ontario Next Generation Showcase, Jan. 13 in Toronto.

The 20 students, who will be graduating with a BFA in Acting this spring, each had 2.5 minutes to perform two contrasting monologues. They chose a range of material, from Shakespeare to modern works, and received an excellent response from the audience of agents, casting directors, directors, and producers.

Several students were tagged on social media from Toronto’s Lemontree Creations theatre company, who wrote “we were super duper impressed … you caught our attention!”
