Show some love for your Valentine and for social action next week, by supporting a gift sale by students in the Alternative Spring Break program.

The program involves students in a week of social action during Reading Week.

Volunteers will take orders for the items Monday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the CAW Student Centre Commons. The gifts will be available for pick-up at the same time and place on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

Surprise your beloved with your choice of:

• a book with a candy gift bag;
• a bottle of North 42 wine, with two roses and a gift bag containing cheese and crackers;
• a candy gift bag;
• a candy gift tray; or
• a bouquet of six long-stemmed roses.

All proceeds will help to offset costs for student volunteers to visit one of two locations — Costa Rica or Walpole Island First Nation. Learn more about the service-learning opportunity on the ASB website.
