Support available to businesses challenged by pandemic

A program of the Entrepreneurship, Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre) will support local businesses looking to adopt technology either to create new revenue streams or to pivot to a new business model in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The EPIC Nimble Program offers up to $4,000 in grants for tech development, marketing, and legal costs. Applications are open through April 30.

“With the rapid pace of the COVID-19 pandemic, many small businesses weren’t financially prepared for the economic hit,” said EPICentre director Wen Teoh. “This program aims to assist these businesses not only by providing them with additional funding but also mentorship, expert advice and tech development with our community partners.”

The program is a partnership with WEtech Alliance and the WindsorEssex Small Business Centre, funded by FedDev Ontario under the Community Economic Development and Diversification stream program. Learn more on the EPICentre website.
