Recruits expected to pitch in to women’s soccer

Belle River native Andrea Rivait is part of a group of talented recruits coming to Lancer women’s soccer this fall.

An honour student, she will study kinesiology, and says the University of Windsor her “top choice” because of the human kinetics program.

“I’m so excited to become a Lancer,” Rivait says. “I am looking forward to joining an amazing group of players and coaches as well as playing at home in front of my family and friends.”

Also joining the blue and gold on the pitch this fall are Essex District High School grad Emma Beaulieu; Alicia Nikolasevic, a transfer from Daemen College in Buffalo, N.Y.; Brooke MacLeod of Ursuline College Chatham; and Marissa Lefebvre from Guelph’s Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School.

“I am excited about the group of young athletes joining our squad this fall,” says head coach Dan Mendonca. “In both the defensive and attacking side of the game, our Fall 2020 class provides a group of athletes who can grow into impactful roles on the field during their Lancer careers.”
