Coach praises character in men’s soccer recruits

Calling them “the future of Lancer men’s soccer,” coach Ryan Mendonca announced 12 athletes he plans to add to his roster this fall.

Donning the blue and gold are local athletes Evan Vacratsis, Otis Vacratsis, Domenic Campana, Arman Aujla, and Robert Alionte, Mississauga native Anthony Oma-Djebah, Oakville’s Christian Lebeuf, Giovanni Magliaro from Chatham, Wazwama (Wazi) Kazhila from Lindsay, and Kishon Cornwall from Scarborough, as well as Michigan natives Kai Thach and Robert Oates.

There are some talented in players in this class and there is a lot of potential,” Mendonca said. “But most importantly, each one of these individuals possesses the top-class character required to be a Lancer.”
