Alum bringing play to online audience

When pandemic precautions cancelled his star turn in what was to be the climax of Factory Theatre’s 50th anniversary season, UWindsor grad Kevin Hanchard (BFA Acting, 2012) determined that the show must go on.

He will appear in Daniel MacIvor’s one-man play House, adapted for an online platform, free on Zoom tonight — Thursday, May 7.

The groundbreaking comedy/nightmare will pull audiences through the lead character’s life, fantasies, desires, and recent push to the edge as he searches for answers. The rewrite as an “isolation version” promises an unforgettable experience.

The virtual curtain rises at 7 p.m. A question-and-answer with Hanchard, playwright MacIvor, and director Nina Lee Acquino will follow the show.
