Men’s coach lauds character and talent of basketball recruits

Lancer men’s basketball coach Chris Cheng says his is excited to see what his team can become with the addition of nine players for the 2020-21 season.

“I feel this class represents the type of character and talent we look to bring to our program yearly,” says Cheng. “Each person understands who we are and who we work to become both on and off the floor.”

Donning the blue and gold are locals Terence Williams, transferring from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan, where he was named an all-conference guard, and St. Anne Catholic High School grad Brayden Amlin, who also plays guard.

Forward Anthony Mensah transferred from Central Wyoming College and guard Jalen Sykes from St. Clair College; the rest come to Windsor directly from secondary schools: centre Segun Akimbulumo and guards Lorenzo Barbieri, Ziphion Grant, Ben Mascarenhas, and Isaiah Mayambu.
