Bingo4Health logoBingo4Health registered 125 UWindsor faculty and staff in 25 teams for a wellness competition that will make them all winners.

Competition dedicated to physical and mental wellness

The 125 UWindsor faculty and staff participating in the Bingo4Health wellness competition have completed the first week of challenges and can now look forward to week 2.

Organizers are pleased with the final registration of 25 teams and remind captains that they must collect the individual tracking sheets from team members and forward the compiled results to mrennie@uwindsor.ca on Monday morning.

The coming week offers:

  • Walk Away Monday: Step away from your workstation during the lunch hour.
  • Kudos Tuesday: Give praise to a colleague for job well done.
  • Junk Food Free Zone Wednesday: Replace junk food snacks with healthy alternatives.
  • Dance Party Thursday: Turn up the music and dance for 10 minutes.
  • Let’s Play Friday: Complete a puzzle (crossword, sudoku, jigsaw) or play a board game.

March 8 to 12 is a bonus round that will enable contestants to earn double the points — one for each day’s specified activity plus an additional point for repeating the first week’s challenges.

The group that finishes the four-week period with the most points will receive a luncheon, compliments of the Office of the President.
