Class offers instruction in digital marketing

Business leaders and owners who want to establish or improve their online presence will benefit from a course offered through Continuing Education starting June 5.

UWindsor alumna Adiela Aviram (BA 2009), a senior manager in advertising, marketing, and e-commerce for Deloitte Digital, teaches “Digital Marketing + E-Commerce Strategy” in six three-hour sessions, each featuring lectures, case studies, and hands-on activities to provide skills necessary to build and operate digital marketing efforts.

Learners will:

  • formulate a sales-driving plan with digital marketing and e-commerce strategies;
  • understand how to use the main digital marketing channels and the key technology tools they require;
  • explore search engine marketing and search engine optimization; and
  • prepare reports and interpret basic marketing data through web analytics.

The classes run 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays, June 5 to July 17. Find details, including a brief biography of Aviram, on the Continuing Education website.
