Office of Research and Innovation Services moving to paperless system

The Electronic Research Services Office (ERSO) being rolled out this week by the Office of Research and Innovation Services is a one-stop electronic shop for researchers, signing authorities, and reviewers, designed to streamline submission through approval processes.

Users log in to the portal using their UWindsor Single Sign On to check the status of certifications, start new grant applications, or complete a review assignment — saving time for users working in multiple roles. Researchers, reviewers, and signing authorities can use the online ERSO portal to perform tasks in the application process from anywhere with an internet connection.

The portal is designed to be an easy way for researchers to electronically manage their research grants, obtain approvals, and track key milestones, and will ultimately replace the ORIS information form and checklist, as well as streamlining communications and processes.

Training sessions on MS Teams are set for faculty:

  • Wednesday, June 23, 2 to 3:30 p.m. or
  • Friday, June 25, 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Register online.

ORIS will host additional training sessions through summer and into fall.
