What do researchers need to know about making their lab accessible to all research personnel?

Get an overview about what disability can look like, and learn modern approaches to making your lab or research environment accessible for highly qualified personnel, study participants, and end users in a webinar presented by the Office of Research and Innovation Services on Thursday, July 15, as part of its series on equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Research systems and metrics co-ordinator Kate Rosser-Davies, accessibility manager Cheri Gagnon, and University of Waterloo professor Jay Dolmage, author of Academic Ableism, will present “Ramp Up: Accessibility for Today’s Research Environments.”

The free session will run 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Microsoft Teams and is intended for faculty, staff, and students interested in learning more about EDI in research; register here.
