The Accessibility Awareness Days series continues Tuesday, March 15, with a webinar on applying the principles of universal design to make campus spaces accessible to all.
The session, at 11:30 a.m. on Microsoft Teams, will address:
- myths about universal design,
- the UWindsor Accessible Built Environment Committee,
- navigational and wayfinding tools, and
- accessible amenities at Leddy Library.
Presenters include professor emeritus Veronika Mogyorody; Cherie Gagnon of the Office of Human Rights, Equity, and Accessibility; associate university librarian Karen Pillon; and visual arts and the built environment alumnae Manjola Bali (BA 2021) and Maria Lederer (BA 2021).
The series continues each Tuesday in March. Those unable to attend the live events will find recordings afterward on the Accessibility Awareness Days website.
