Event to launch collection of local poetry

English professor Andre Narbonne is opening his March 29 online class on Windsor’s literary culture to the public for a book launch by two poets with connection to the UWindsor creative writing program.

The Marshwood Songs is a collection by alumnus Nick Hildenbrand (BA 2018, MA 2021) and master’s candidate Jovan Stefanov. Published by Black Moss Press, it showcases a verse distinctive to the landscape of Windsor-Essex.

Tuesday’s event will begin at 2:30 p.m. and feature readings by the authors and guests. To attend, email Dr. Narbonne at anarbonn@uwindsor.ca to receive the Zoom link.
