Course to explore Jewish-Catholic relationship

A six-week course offered by Assumption University will provide a portrait of Jewish-Catholic relations by exploring historical interactions and contemporary developments between the two religions.

Instructor John Cappucci hopes students will examine approaches to cultivate understanding, dialogue, and co-operation between Jewish and Catholic communities.

Assumption University is the Roman Catholic university federated with the University of Windsor; Dr. Cappucci is its principal and holds the Stephen Jarislowsky Chair in Religion and Conflict.

“Jerusalem and Rome: Jewish-Catholic Relations” will run online via Zoom and Blackboard from May 10 to June 24. Find details, including learning outcomes, fees, and registration, on the course website.
