Now entering its second month since activation, the team behind UWinsite Finance is providing some updates and points of note to the campus community.

Assistance with the transition to the University’s new financial information system is available through the UWinsite Finance Support Taskforce.

The University’s new financial information system, UWinsite Finance, has been operational for a month.
“On behalf of the UWinsite Finance implementation team and the Department of Finance, I want to thank the hundreds of staff and faculty members who have attended training,” says Gillian Heisz, University controller and lead of the UWinsite Finance implementation. “Your assistance helping others use UWinsite Finance is greatly appreciated.”
With the transition to the new financial information system, the campus community is asked to note the following:

UWinsite Finance, the University’s new financial information system, went live February 1.
The University of Windsor is in the process of transitioning from its current FIS to the new UWinsite Finance.
UWinsite Finance, the financial information system replacing the University’s current FIS, will go live on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018.
As part of preparations for the launch of UWinsite Finance, a full transition plan has been developed. The plan requires certain financial services to pause this month to allow for the clean cutover of data.
