Film fest to showcase documentaries about South Asia

The South Asian Documentary Film Festival invites audiences anywhere in the world to view its 15 entries from India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Myanmar.

Sponsored by the UWindsor departments of Communications, Media and Film and Women's and Gender Studies, the series allows for access to screenings over 24 hours beginning at 3 p.m. Fridays — starting March 12.

The festival is aimed at creating meaningful dialogues and intercultural awareness, serving as a resource on South Asia and its diaspora. Find details on each film at filmsouthasia.org.
