Transform your digital skills this fall — the Department of Continuing Education is gearing up to deliver another semester of cutting-edge courses to help advance applied web skills. Learn from top University instructors about everything from advanced web optimization and user experience to threat analysis and secure application design.

Upcoming technology and design courses include:

> Certificate in Front-End Web Development | Starts Sept. 28

> Certificate in Cybersecurity | Starts Oct. 18

The Certificate in Front-End Web Development will provide students with hands-on experience using tools and techniques promoted by professional web designers and coders, to understand the fundamentals of website creation and optimization. Students in this certificate program must take four core courses: Fundamentals of Web Design, Web Design and Development, User Experience and User Interface Design, and Front-End Web Development. Throughout these courses, students will build out an individual ePortfolio that will showcase their work and understanding. Another course returning this fall is the Certificate in Cybersecurity. Designed for people who want to explore the world of information security and the cloud, this course offers the chance to dissect the architecture and design of a system to understand threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities. Students will participate in two core courses that will go over system security and system implementation. Upon completing each course, students will take a certification exam. The content of this certificate is mapped with the CompTIA Security + curriculum for those who are interested in pursuing the professional certification. Learn more now.
