Federal government to announce measures to zero in on Windsor’s west end hum

Bob Dechert, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Essex MP Jeff Watson will make an announcement on campus today regarding the Windsor hum.

The event is intended for media but open to members of the UWindsor community. It begins at 2 p.m. in the conference room of the London Life Great Lakes Environmental Research Centre at 2990 Riverside Drive West.

MP Jeff Watson to announce auto innovation agreement today

Jeff Watson, Member of Parliament for Essex, on behalf of the Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will be on campus today to announce an agreement that will encourage innovation in the automotive industry.

Watson will be joined by UWindsor president Alan Wildeman for the announcement, at 11 a.m. near the atrium staircase in the Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation. The campus community is invited to attend.
