Contest to showcase aspiring filmmakers

Are you passionate and creative? Do you love hearing people’s stories? Are you good with a video camera?

Then TVOntario’s Doc Studio contest is for you!

The province’s public educational media broadcaster is inviting aspiring young filmmakers to submit a five-minute interview-based short documentary film, inspired by  the style of TVO’s filmmaker-in-residence Alan Zweig (Vinyl, I Curmudgeon, Lovable, A Hard Name).

The contest invites students to capture the essence of their interview subjects to reveal “Life in 5” – a memorable moment, a shift in perception, or a secret no one else could uncover.

Further information, including contest rules, entry forms, and a video of Zweig describing the contest, are available at docstudio.tvo.org/contest.
