Application deadline today for student leadership initiative

Students hoping to make a difference on campus have one last chance to apply for the Lead@UWindsor program, an initiative of student and international affairs to provide them with the opportunity to get involved.

Volunteers can choose to help with events such as Head Start and Windsor Welcome Week as well as in offices like the Aboriginal Education Centre, the International Student Centre, the Educational Development Centre, or the Centre for Career Education.

Nadia Hachem, a student development specialist for volunteer and leadership, calls the program a great opportunity to learn, grow, and meet other people.

“Our Lead@UWindsor participants have a chance opportunity to make a difference on campus, provide support to their peers, influence their surroundings and gain valuable experience,” she says.
