Under the Ontario Regulation 278/05 Designated Substance - Asbestos on Construction Projects and in Buildings and Repair Operations, November 1, 2005 we are required to have a management program which includes regular inspections, training and information building occupants and workers (construction and maintenance) about the potential hazards in the building.

Facility Services has scheduled an Asbestos Awareness & Software Information Training Session for faculty and staff on Friday, February 28, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in room 102, Toldo Health Education Centre.

The session will provide campus-wide training on asbestos awareness, including the Hazmat software and database. Personnel from Pinchin Environmental will lead the session.
