A program that places international students in summer research internships in Canada is seeking UWindsor undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students to serve as mentors to participants.
Mitacs is hiring Globalink Mentors to provide health, safety, and social support for four to seven Globalink Research Interns for four or five months between May 1 and September 30, 2014. The position requires an average commitment of five hours per week, and pays either $1400 for a four-month stint or $1700 for five months.
Working as a Globalink Mentor allows students to showcase their university and city to top-quality undergraduate students from various countries. Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit research organization that manages and funds research and training programs in partnership with companies, government and academia.
