Filmmaker and UWindsor professor Min Bae and his crew will present a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his latest film, Stillwater, Tuesday, June 30 at from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Walkerville Brewery, 525 Argyle Road.
The film is historical fiction, says producer Brian Khan, and is based loosely on two real-life characters from Windsor’s prohibition scene — speakeasy owner Bertha Thomas and temperance thumping pastor Rev. Leslie Spracklin.
Tickets are $50 each and are available at the door that evening. Ticket proceeds will benefit the film’s production.
