The facility services notify the campus community that the enhanced streetscaping of Sunset Avenue and the new Welcome Commons area is nearing completion as well as the corner of Wyandotte and California.

The work included new sidewalks and walkways, landscape upgrades, as well as a number of sitting / study pods and bicycle racks for students, staff and the surrounding community to use and enjoy.

To ensure minimal disruptions to UWindsor students and staff, safety fencing will be maintained where construction activities are still in progress. There will also be large signs posted at Wyandotte Street and Sunset Avenue; Welcome Centre; and Wyandotte Street and California Avenue to clearly mark access points to the Welcome Centre, Erie Hall / Lambton Tower and the Odette School of Business. 

Construction activities in these areas will taper off over the next month with work being completed and wrapped-up by the end of September / early October.
