Group offers treatment for symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Are you tired of fighting with yourself? If you struggle with symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, the Psychological Services and Research Centre can help.

“Living Fully” is a group treatment program for adults with symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Led by doctoral students Chantal Boucher and Simritpal Mahli under the supervision of clinical psychologist Annette Dufresne, the service is free and open to individuals from the campus or local communities.

Its sessions will run Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m., beginning February 7 and ending March 28. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

The organizers will conduct intakes from January 9 to February 6 and invite those interested to set up an appointment to determine whether the group will be a good fit. Contact them by e-mail at livingfullygroup@gmail.com, or by phone at 519-973-7012.
