In conjunction with Thursday’s Celebration of Nations cultural festival, Food Services will offer street foods of different lands for lunch this week in the CAW Student Centre.

Tuesday, it’s a taste of Italy, with arancini rice balls, the chickpea polenta fritters panelle, polpette meatballs, the rolled pizzas stromboli, and for dessert, pistachio or Nutella cannoli pastries.

Wednesday takes diners to the subcontinent, with Indian fare including aloo tikki potato croquettes, butter chicken pops, salmon roll on naan flatbread, and savoury stuffed samosas.

Thursday’s menu boasts the cuisine of Mexico: corn nachos with chorizo sausage, grilled chicken tacos, the grilled beef dish carne asada, chorizo-spiced pulled pork, and fried-dough churros.

All will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Chef to You station in the Marketplace food court.

The Celebration of Nations promises cultural displays and performances in the CAW Student Centre Commons on March 9 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
