Dylan Kristy, who joined the Public Affairs and Communications team Monday as research communications co-ordinator, said he hopes to incorporate more video and visual elements in his stories on the innovative work of UWindsor faculty and students.
“I’m very excited to be able to help spread the word about the innovative research being conducted here at the University of Windsor,” Kristy said. “Students and faculty have unique stories; I look forward to giving them a voice.”
Kristy worked for the last seven years as a reporter and editor at the Windsor Star, where he covered a variety of topics including education, healthcare, science and politics. In 2011, he started working as an editor at the Star, earning Ontario Newspaper Awards for video production and online multimedia projects.
