Survey seeks feedback on need for advanced training in content management system

As part of a review of its training process for the University’s website editors, the Office of Public Affairs and Communications invites feedback from the campus community on whether there is a need for — and interest in — more advanced training in the Drupal content management system.

“Our current course is basic. It teaches people with little previous experience how to create pages and events, upload graphics, and use menus and blocks,” says Rob Aitkens, web development team lead. “We want to know whether there is a perceived need for more capability at the user level.”

He has created a survey for employees responsible for official websites asking about the content and form of further possible training. The survey is anonymous and requires about two or three minutes to complete. Take the survey.
