Vocal recital to feature wide range of music

Visiting scholar Wenxian Lyu will perform a program ranging from the baroque to modern Chinese compositions in a recital Saturday, June 9, at All Saints’ Anglican Church.

Lyu, a soprano, is a voice instructor at the University of Arts and Science in Chongqing, China, currently visiting the UWindsor Faculty of Education and School of Creative Arts.

Accompanying her Saturday are professor emeritus Jonathan Bayley and Natalie Dorion on flute, professor emeritus David Palmer on organ, and grad student Yang Chen on piano.

The performance will begin at 2 p.m. in the church, located at 330 City Hall Square West. Admission is by donation.
