Workshops to hone skills in technical writing

In a technologically-driven world, the need for effective technical communication is greater than ever.

Whether you are majoring in engineering, business, or the sciences — or already in the professional workforce — instructors and employers place a high value on writing that is clear, concise, persuasive, and accessible to all readers.

A series of workshops offered by Continuing Education will provide you with skills to enhance your writing for a variety of purposes. It runs four consecutive Saturdays, each session focusing on a different key topic.

The first series begins this Saturday, Feb. 9, with subsequent sessions to run in June and October.

Enrolment in the Technical Writing Series is not limited to current students; the weekend schedule accommodates working professionals, graduate students, and undergraduates. Learn more on the series website.

Continuing Education is working with partners in industry and the academy to develop more course in engaging and flexible formats. Visit continue.uwindsor.ca to learn more.
