Two local employers looking to hire UWindsor talent

The Office of Career Development and Experiential Learning will host next week two employers looking to hire UWindsor students: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Windsor CrossFit.

FCA officials will be in the CAW Student Centre Commons on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to accept resumés for Summer Vacation Replacement supervisors. Students from all disciplines of study are welcome to apply.

“FCA has a long partnership of hiring UWindsor talent via co-op and new graduates,” said Sarah Overton, campus engagement co-ordinator “They attended our 2019 Job Fair at St. Clair College and we are thrilled to host them now on our campus.”

On Thursday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., representatives of Windsor CrossFit will be in the atrium of the Human Kinetics Building. They will answer questions and will accept resumés for a variety of positions.

Students that are interested in employment with either organization should come dressed to impress and with copies of their resumés, advises Overton.

The Career Development and Experiential Learning office is a unit within the Office of Experiential Learning. Visit www.uwindsor.ca/cdel to find out more about workshops and peer advising drop-in hours, where students can get on-the-spot critiques of their resumés.
