Last chance at $50 gift card for Bystander Initiative Workshops

There is only one more week left of the semester which means this is your last chance to take a Bystander Initiative workshop before the semester ends. The workshops run Monday to Friday at various times through the week; the last is scheduled for April 3.

The Bystander Initiative aims to cultivate community responsibility and contends that everybody has a role to play in the prevention of sexual violence. Its workshops are an opportunity to learn how to develop skills to prevent a sexual assault from happening and also teach you how to provide support to survivors of sexual violence.

Additionally, first-year students who complete the Bystander Initiative workshop can receive $50 in UWin money for the purchase of books or food on campus.

For additional questions or concerns, email program co-ordinator Frances Cachon at bystander@uwindsor.ca.
