Social media campaign aiming to keep Lancer family healthy and active

Lancer Recreation has launched a campaign to keep students, faculty, and staff healthy and active this spring.

#LancerRecConnect will employ social media and website resources to engage and support all aspects of wellness, including physical, mental, intellectual, and social well-being.

Follow @LancerRec on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to keep up to date with the latest resources. Participants are also encouraged to engage and connect on social media using the same hashtag in their posts.

The spring 2020 #LancerRecConnect instructional schedule has been announced. All classes for this session will be virtual and free for all of campus. Classes will be offered through Microsoft Teams with the support of Craig Brown from IT Services, and live on Instagram.

Sign up here for each week’s classes on Teams.

Student Centre raffling bike for Monday participation

The Student Centre is encouraging UWindsor students to join Lancer Rec classes at the start of each week with its Move It Mondays promotion. Students who participate in any of these activities will be entered into a draw — they can double their chances by posting a photo of their efforts.

Check out the contest details on the student centre’s Facebook page.
