Organizing committee issues call for academic program orientation details

Organizers of UWindsor Welcome Week specialist in the Student Success and Leadership Centre are inviting faculty members to submit their plans for academic orientation programming so they may be included in the online platform new students will use to navigate through their introduction to the University.

These sessions must be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, for inclusion in the online platform. Sessions on other dates may still be promoted in the circulated schedule, however they will not be hosted on the online platform.

“One advantage we’ll have this year is that we won’t need to allocate physical space for program orientation,” says Amber Norman, student development specialist in the Student Success and Leadership Centre. “However, we still need the information to be able to promote them to the incoming cohort.”

The marketing co-ordinator in the Student Success and Leadership Centre will finalize arrangements in mid-July. Find more information on the centre’s website. Direct questions to uwindsorwelcome@uwindsor.ca.
