Four-week challenge to encourage employees to stay active

A prize draw awaits participants in a new activity encouraging UWindsor faculty and staff to keep moving while working from home.

The Run, Walk and Roll Individual Challenge sets a goal of 10,000 steps or equivalent a day from June 22 to July 19.

“We recognize that this may be ambitious for some, and encourage all registrants to set their own goals,” says organizer Mary-Ann Rennie, chair of the University working group, Virtual Connections. “Any physical activity at all is still beneficial to your health and wellness.”

She hopes employees will encourage their colleagues to join in the spirit of friendly competition.

Those who register by June 17 are eligible for a prize draw at the conclusion of the challenge. Get the details on the Virtual Connections website.
