Cultural festival moves to cyberspace

Today — Monday, March 15 — is the first day of the Celebration of Nations 2021 virtual event.

Organizers are excited for students, faculty, and staff to learn about other cultures through a variety of performances, demonstrations, and displays of food, dance, dress, and music.

“Even in the midst of these unprecedented times, we still want to continue the very special annual tradition of celebrating the various cultures within the University community,” says Celebration of Nations co-ordinator Nancy Barkou.

Tune in to the UWindsor YouTube channel at 11 a.m. each day through March 19 to watch a variety of performances, cooking segments, and cultural showcases.
