A free workshop Wednesday will address how to safely host concerts and house parties.
The campus radio station CJAM is partnering with the SAFE Bar Network to present “How to Have a Safe Night Out” via Zoom teleconference, Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. The event promises conversation about the music and entertainment industry and its relationship with alcohol, sexual harassment, and misconduct.
Attendees will learn to:
- notice concerning behaviour;
- interrupt effectively;
- provide support;
- enact active bystander skills;
- create a comfortable, safe, and fun atmosphere for all.
