The University of Windsor’s first hybrid Open House will welcome future students and their entourages in person, online, or both on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The all-new hyflex event will showcase why the University of Windsor is an exceptional choice for academic opportunities, campus life, and student support.
Organizers aim to provide a safe and enjoyable in-person experience while simultaneously being accessible to attendees around the globe by combining a virtual event platform with in-person activities, including campus tours, an outdoor services fair, and program presentations offered in new hyflex classrooms that can be broadcast into a virtual auditorium, says Chris Busch, associate vice-president, enrolment management.
“We are extremely thankful to all our campus partners for joining in providing a safe in-person open house, including our faculty and academic partners, health and safety, Facility Services, Catering Services, and IT Services, to name a few,” he says.
“We know that bringing prospective students to campus is critical to highlight our institution’s unique academic offerings and value proposition, including undergraduate research opportunities, engagement inside and outside the classroom, and a vibrant and diverse campus community.”
