road sign: Change aheadA student experience survey launching in January will guide decision-making on campus supports and services.

Survey seeking input to better student experience coming in January

Throughout this year, work has been done to reimagine the University of Windsor’s structures, processes, procedures, systems, services, and culture, with the ultimate goal of offering an inclusive, safe, and supportive space to all students.

A campus-wide consultation and fact-finding process on campus experiences is in progress, and a key part is a student experience survey: students will have the opportunity to make their voices heard for change and can enter a draw to win $500.

The survey outcomes will help guide:

  • decision-making and resource allocation around student supports and services;
  • restructuring the Office of Student Experience; and
  • improving the process of addressing non-academic student misconduct.

The survey is completely confidential, managed by the outside firm Charles C. Smith Consulting to ensure it remains at arm’s length from the University administration.

It will launch in early January 2022. Registered students can’t miss it: they will receive an e-mail and all the details from their own student union, and will see the survey link on social media, on Blackboard, and right here in DailyNews.
