The next offering of the International Student Centre Culture Series will introduce a discussion of the experience of learning in Métis community on Friday, Feb. 11, from 1 to 2 p.m.

The presenter for this session is political science professor Rebecca Major, a member of the Métis Nation of Ontario.

This free event is presented by the International Student Centre to help staff and faculty deepen their understanding of, and provide better support to, students from around the world.

“The purpose is to engage our campus community in learning more about the cultures of the students who are most prominent here,” says ISC director Beth Oakley.

The presentation is offered through Microsoft Teams. Click here to join the webinar.

Upcoming Winter 2022 sessions will include presentations on Vietnam and Nigeria, with dates and presenters to be announced shortly.
