Virtual queue system to lessen student wait times for registrarial services

The Office of the Registrar rolled out a booking system Monday that promises to allow staff to see more student clients and reduce wait times.

The system is available from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Students join a virtual queue to visit the office to pick up documents such as transcripts, enrolment letters, and graduation letters, or to bring in documents that require signatures. They will receive an estimated wait time and a text message when it is their turn to come to the office. Clients must show their green Safe Lancer badge and photo identification.

The secured drop box outside of the Cashiers office in Chrysler Hall North remains available for students who need only to drop off documents.
