Webinar to offer info on grad program in Translational Health Science

The Master of Science in Translational Health Science (MSTHS) program, which launches in May, 2022, is hosting a live webinar information session for prospective students. The information session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 9, at 6 p.m. Interested parties can register at the link above.

For those who cannot attend the webinar, the program is also offering prospective students a virtual tour of its website.

Martin Crozier, MSTHS program co-ordinator, says it is important for future students to have all their questions about the new program answered in one place.

β€œThe video gives a brief overview of the program and its structure and also provides a brief guided tour of our website so that prospective students can find answers to most of the questions they might have,” says Dr. Crozier.

The program, out of the Department of Biomedical Science, bridges the gap between advances in laboratory medical research and health care in clinical practice. In the year-long course-based program, each student will be offered three terms of experiential learning placements with local clinicians or UWindsor researchers.

The deadline is approaching to be in the inaugural class of the new program. Domestic students have until April 1 to apply. The deadline for international students passed on March 1.

Prospective students may visit the MSTHS website to apply or email Crozier at mcrozier@uwindsor.ca if they have further questions about the program. They can also follow the program through the Twitter handle @UWindsorMSTHS.
