Psychology student springs into quiz win

Psychology major Carmen Meagan Washburn Cohen won Monday’s trivia quiz celebrating the first day of spring. She will collect her prize package of a mug and socks bearing designs by Indigenous artists, donated by the Campus Bookstore.

Washburn Cohen’s entry was drawn from all those which correctly identifed Rachel Carson as author of the environmental jeremiad Silent Spring, Nova Scotia as the birthplace of pasta primavera, Tennyson as the observer of a young man’s fancy, Jean de Florette as predecessor of Manon des Sources, and Vivaldi as the composer of the “Spring” concerto.
