Input sought on search process for new Vice-President, Research and Innovation

The search committee for the new Vice-President, Research and Innovation, at the University of Windsor has launched a survey to inform the selection process. Staff, faculty, and students are invited to provide their views of:

  • the challenges and opportunities that await the new Vice-President, Research and Innovation;
  • the qualities and experience that the new Vice-President, Research and Innovation should possess; and
  • possible names and contact information for individuals that members of the campus community wish to suggest for the role.

This survey is intended to add to the input gathered in early 2022 through a consultation led by professors Myra Tawfik and Rick Caron, which involved an assessment of campus perspectives on how this important role should evolve with the appointment of the next Vice-President, Research and Innovation. This final report can be found here.

All responses will be held in strict confidence by the search consultant. Survey participants can choose to submit anonymously if they wish to do so. The survey portal will be open until May 9.
