Participants in a workshop at the Incubator Art Lab will make their own Petri dish artworks combining foods, collage, and bioart on Saturday, June 4.

Artist-in-residence Jude Abu Zaineh (MFA 2019) will lead the workshop, offered in a drop-in format from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the studio at 144 University Ave. West. Attendance is free and open to the public — no experience is necessary. Masks are required to enter and participate, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Attendees will be sent documentation of their Petri dishes in a week, as invisible cultures become visible after incubation.
