Students in any major of study hoping to take a creative writing workshop course in the fall have until June 27 to apply and submit a portfolio.

There had been some confusion about the deadlines, so applicants should ignore the due date of May 31 specified on the forms, says professor Susan Holbrook.

Students need not be in the creative writing stream or even in an English program to take these workshop courses, she says.

“We are looking for students who are willing to explore and innovate in their own practice, and who can support with thoughtful critique their fellow writers,” Dr. Holbrook says.
